Everything you need to know about ordering, delivery, returns, payments and the craftsmanship behind Mark Schrimm products.
Delivery & Shipping
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Shipping options:
- Standard Delivery – Royal Mail Tracked 48 (FREE)
- Express Delivery – Royal Mail Tracked 24 (£2)
Order processing:
Orders placed before 12:00 (midday) are usually dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time are dispatched the next working day.
Tracking:
All orders are sent with full tracking. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details.
Lost or delayed parcels:
If your parcel has not arrived within 10 working days from the expected delivery date, please contact us. You may choose either a replacement or a full refund.
Returns & Refunds
You may return your order within 14 days of receiving it.
Conditions for returns:
- Products must be unused
- Returned in original packaging
- Items showing signs of use cannot be resold and are not eligible for return
Important hygiene note:
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of:
- Used shoe polish
- Used cloths
- Used brushes
Return shipping costs:
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Refunds:
Refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Payment processing time may vary depending on Stripe or PayPal.
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to order a different item, please place a new order.
Warranty & Complaints
Brush Warranty
All Mark Schrimm brushes are covered by a 5-year warranty.
The warranty covers:
- Structural defects in the wood
- Manufacturing faults
- Bristle detachment due to material defects
The warranty does not cover:
- Natural wear and tear
- Cosmetic ageing
- Damage caused by misuse or impact
Complaints & transport damage
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- Photos of the product
- Photos of the packaging
Depending on the case, we will offer a replacement or refund.
Payment Methods
We offer secure payments via:
- Credit & Debit Cards (processed by Stripe)
- PayPal
- Klarna – Pay in 3 instalments
All payments are taken at the time of order.
All prices are displayed in GBP.
Product Care & Safety
Our products are designed for smooth leather, including:
- Full-grain leather
- Corrected grain leather
Safety & usage guidelines:
- Always test the product on a small, hidden area first
- Keep away from children
- Use in a well-ventilated area
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Store products tightly closed
Storage:
Store in a dry, dark place at 15–25°C.
How to Use Our Shoe Polish
- Clean the leather surface
- Apply a small amount of polish using a cloth or brush
- Allow the polish to absorb
- Buff gently to achieve a natural shine
Regular care nourishes the leather and protects it from drying and cracking.
Materials & Origin
Crafted in the UK with European-made components.
Our shoe polish is produced in small batches in the UK.
Cloths are cut and stitched locally in the UK using European-sourced fabric.
Brushes are made in Poland, one of Europe’s traditional brush-making regions.
Ingredients:
- Beeswax (from local beekeepers)
- Carnauba wax
- Lanolin
- Natural turpentine
- Essential oils
- Natural pigments (where applicable)
No silicone. No petroleum fillers. No hidden ingredients.
Quality & Craftsmanship
Mark Schrimm products are produced in small batches.
Every item is:
- Hand-packed by the founder
- Visually inspected before dispatch
- Made with a focus on longevity and function, not artificial shine
We protect leather — we do not create a temporary coating without care.
